Big changes are coming for our family and we are both excited and nervous about them! Aaron has two semesters left at the University of Utah and over the summer he was invited to apply to do an internship in Washington DC for the fall semester. So we applied, waited, interviewed, waited, and finally got word that he was chosen!! It will be four months long in a very expensive part of the country so Lizzie, Sam and I will be staying here in Utah while Aaron will live with his brother David in Maryland! We are still amazed that this is happening so quickly. We have lots of details to work out but things are falling in to place! Lucky for me, we have lots of loving family members around who are going to support me and the babies while Aaron is gone. He will come home right before Christmas, finish his last semester in the spring and then GRADUATE!!! We are thrilled! That is all our current plans so now I will highlight some fun things that have happened the last few months.

Lizzie turned 2 in June and we celebrated with our family. Aaron had to work but we had a fun dinner with Mark and Elaine over at my parents house. It just happened to be the same day as Fathers day so she shared the spotlight with her wonderful dad and grandpas!! Morgan and I made a cute little minnie mouse cake for Lizzie and she was so excited by it. Not the best looking cake we've ever made but we had fun :)
We took a little trip down to my family cabin in Delta, UT and played on the lake there. Lizzie is starting to like the jetski a little more this year.
After spending some time in Delta, we got to take another awesome vacation to FLORIDA!!!! Me, Sam, Liz, my mom, Morgan and Cori were about to fly out June 18th and spent 10 days with my grandparents and awesome cousins and aunts and uncles until Aaron and my dad joined us on the 28th for another 10 days! We were gone a total of 3 weeks!!! It was a long vacation and we had so much fun!!!!!! I am posting a bunch of the pictures from there. I love Florida and all my family that is there. For the first time in nearly 15 years my dad and all three of his sisters were together with my grandparents! It was a mini-family reunion! Though not all of my siblings or cousins could make it :( We spent the 4th of July there watching fireworks from the beach house we were staying in. It was a great experience!
We made the mistake of booking a red-eye flight to Florida so they didn't sleep well.... they made up for it the next day!!
Almost every time we drove over to the beach Sam would fall asleep so we would take his car seat out on the beach and he would sleep while we played!
